Nope, there's a couple of us here. I think Scott, Fast2Seater, & NotAMonte are out of the Orlando area. There might be more, but those are the only ones that ring a bell as regulars here.

Yeah, I'm still in the Orlando area. Winter Springs to be more precise. Most of the Central Florida people don't still check this site. There were a few more, back in the day.

Yeah, there were a few more that stopped posting early 2002 or so.

There was also Dan and his brother. Al's car made huge hp numbers, but the best I heard was only a 12-something. And I heard that a long time ago, so who knows.

Well SRO has some strange rules, you see. The meet can only consist of SRO members in multiples of four. There can only be 4, 8, 12, etc.

It was running, then broke, then was supposed to become even crazier, then it was being messed with, then Al moved over to the Tampa area. I have hardly heard anything more until very recently. He decided to make a manifold to put a CT 26 turbo on a KA. Why? I don't think anyone knows.

But yeah, we had a good amount of people. Justin used 'Mr VR4' I believe. There was also the other Al (Solidus) and even Jesus posted up occasionally.

Yeah, I heard that Al is over in Tampa by lurking on the tamparacing.com boards. But I haven't heard any news about his project, other than it is supposed to be fast.

I just wish I had enough cash to finish my little brother's car so we can tool around and meet some of the local folks. I don't know anybody up here.

Right now, my car just blends into the crowd. I used to drive the 240 in my avatar, and before that a Mariner Blue Miata. Not that those cars stood out or anyhing, just they did more than my current bone stock econobox.

Back in the day...hahah...like way back in 2001 and 2002, we used to have a decent little group of Central Florida SRO people meeting up. Me, Erik, Angelo, Jason, Al, Dan, Brian, Justin, Jacquelin, Jan, Solidus, Jesus, and so on. I don't think any of us (except for Dan and Angelo) are driving the same cars we did back then.

Anyway, I'm actually east of Orlando over in Brevard County. I'm usually seen driving my Mazda, but soon we may be seeing me pimp the VeeDub.

So are you going or not? I've been up all night and need something to do, or I'm going to be stuck hanging out all day with my girlfriend and her girfriend who got dumped last night.

Don't make me suffer through that. It's cheap and only lasts a half a day. Gimmie a call at 863-581-9302. Come on Orlando guys help me out.

Ugh. Had to work.

Of course had it not been for work, I'd have spent the day in Sebring. But that's just me.

Probably good that you guys didn't get to go. I was there from 8:30-noon before I got a call in to come into work. There were only two cars running, they were waiting for the other teams to show. It might have gotten better later on, but I didn't get to see it.

Side note; I told them I was there to take some pictures for SRO, so I got in for free and was allowed to roam the infield at will. I'll post up the pics in the gallery later today.

When you log into the SRO Photo Gallery there should be a link on the left titled "My Gallery". If you click on that you can add and remove photos and make new albums.

Anyone know a guy named Derek with a red 355hp 240sx in the international drive area, near the premium outlet mall, and drifts at the ocala track? I met him yesterday, nice ride...I only spoke with him briefly, but hes working on building it up to 400hp, and dropping some more pounds.
